Our Story
Before CAIRS was born, Leonard Vanderhoven was working as a telephone installer, and Richard Motzkus was a Regional Vice President for AT&T. Recognizing a distinct need for a cable management solution among Air Force clientele, Len and Dick made the strategic decision to leverage their expertise, culminating in the development of the Cable Assignment Information Retrieval System (CAIRS).
This marked the establishment of Unique Communication Solutions, initially comprising a tight-knit group of Vanderhoven and Motzkus family members. Over the ensuing years, Unique has evolved into a dynamic team, encompassing both family and friends. Committed to addressing our customers' challenges, our dedicated team collaborates to deliver innovative solutions through our products.
